Cons
1. The restaurant is terrible. At mealtimes, a bunch of people scramble for food in the cafeteria, looking just like refugees. The food is awful, and they only subsidize NT$30 per meal—extremely stingy.
2. Completely arbitrary management. Salary adjustments and the amount of bonuses depend entirely on whether the boss likes you.
3. Even getting an ISO document requires submitting applications through layer upon layer of approval. My electronic forms were rejected several times—is it a form or a damn hassle?
4. The PC assistants have an incredibly superior attitude and are extremely annoying.
5. There are a bunch of entrenched old-timers. It’s completely a “the more you do, the more mistakes you make; do nothing and make no mistakes” mentality. No one will properly guide new employees. You have to ask about everything yourself, then endure cold and sarcastic remarks, and you may not even get an answer.
6. Work efficiency is poor because everyone likes to arrive late and work until very late at night to show the boss how hardworking they are. Leave too early and people sarcastically say you’re living an easy life. It makes no sense.
