Employees are often given free soon-to-expire products to try.
Overtime is the norm in the sales and marketing departments. Many people work overtime, but no one claims overtime pay, creating an unwritten rule.
The boss has high standards and regularly follows up on progress, keeping a close eye on everyone. The work pressure is considerable, but the salary is merely average, making the cost-performance ratio rather low.
The company also sets high standards for work efficiency, believing that it has hired enough people. However, the fact is that many departments cannot finish their work without regularly working overtime. This is a listed company that has been operating for more than 10 years, yet the average employee tenure is less than two years (this can be verified in the annual reports presented at shareholder meetings), showing just how high the turnover rate is. The company clearly has serious problems with management and workforce allocation, but the boss does not seem to care. After all, hiring people is quick, and making money is what matters most to the company.
