Pros

Chatting with some good colleagues.

There is an unlimited supply of snacks, coffee, instant noodles, and non-refrigerated drinks.

Afternoon tea is provided from time to time, such as fried chicken cutlets and hand-shaken drinks. These are distributed when the new game for that month makes money.

It will make you rethink whether your career and life are really developing in the direction you want. The environment will make you afraid of being eliminated and push you to work hard to learn new technologies.

Recommended here for software professionals who lack the motivation to learn new technologies. As soon as you join, you will immediately reassess whether your technical abilities are keeping up with the times.

Cons

Benefits:

The salary includes a perfect-attendance bonus of 1,500. Please pay attention to this when negotiating your salary during the interview. Taking personal leave or sick leave, or being late, will result in the deduction of the perfect-attendance bonus, so the cost of taking leave is high. Then your supervisor will say that you can work overtime in exchange for compensatory leave to make it up.

On weekdays, overtime starts being counted after 7:00 p.m.; the hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. does not count.

For more than two hours of overtime on a weekday, there is a 120-dollar meal allowance. In other words, you must work overtime until 9:00 p.m. to receive the 120-dollar meal allowance.

Whether working overtime on weekdays or holidays, you can only exchange it for compensatory leave.

There is a monthly accumulated grace period of one hour for lateness. Once you exceed it, even being one minute late is calculated as one full hour.

Engineering:

The backend does not use any framework. The longer you stay, the more outdated your skills become. Technology is not valued; as long as things work, that is enough. The team culture does not encourage changes, because whenever a problem occurs, regardless of whether you caused it, every issue is pinned on you. In the end, either you become unwilling to change anything, or you cannot stand it and resign.

The version control system is practically nonexistent: SVN is used like FTP, because everything is updated directly on the SVN trunk. Development, testing, and operations all use the same line.

The backend is extremely tightly coupled; if one component goes wrong, the system cannot start.

Management:

All the company veterans have left. None of the remaining people has a clear understanding of the overall program architecture, so figure out problems yourself.

Some supervisors will "constantly" demand overtime, but it can only be exchanged for compensatory leave. When I say "constantly," I really mean it—constantly, always brainwashing you into working overtime.

One supervisor loves talking nonsense; the more he talks, the angrier it makes people.

One day, you will be required to take on operations as well.

One day, you will be required to be on call on holidays.

One day, you will be required to get up early to deploy a release.

Environment:

The lighting is very dim, the space is cramped, and the chairs are terrible.

Between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning, do not work too seriously, because the cleaning lady will come and disrupt your thinking.
