They can even choose which colleagues to evaluate you on. If you don't like ingratiating yourself with colleagues or value your privacy, don't come here. The quarterly bonuses here are directly related to your popularity and political maneuvering. If you don't want to be blindsided every quarter by baseless accusations, and just want to rely on your abilities to do your work, don't come to this company—a place where the system itself supports rising through political intrigue.
