The HR staff were very polite
The interview experience posted here is accurate.
The original poster has a master's degree in computer science from one of Taiwan's top four universities and has solved 200 LeetCode problems.
The position interviewed for was in visual algorithms.
In the email exchanges, HR got the location wrong.
Before the interview, I first took a 90-minute test (logic + C/C++), which I did fairly well on.
But then I waited nearly an hour for the manager. Doesn't the interviewer's time count as time?
They also said, “I think your coding still needs improvement.”
I wouldn't claim to be an expert, but I have solved 200 LeetCode problems, and I also did very well academically in school.
Before even being hired, I was asked to prepare a transcript, proof of resignation, an overtime consent form, and an overseas assignment consent form.
I also had to fill in a lot of basic information, including my family members' occupations.
I'm quite curious how they manage to find people under these standards.
I wish the company luck in finding suitable candidates.
