The environment is quiet, so you can work seriously, and labor laws are followed.
The boss and the family who run the business put a lot of care into it, and all the benefits that should be provided are available.
However, during certain periods when the boss and upper management cannot manage or see what is happening,
department managers are treated as if they are the absolute authority.
When there is a staff shortage, some managers simply slack off instead of finding substitutes and take leave every day. You only find out on the day whether they will come to work, and the work is directly dumped on other people.
Other colleagues engage in behind-the-scenes infighting, exclusion, and defamation, creating a poor work environment with a heavy workload and strained relationships between colleagues. Newcomers cannot survive unless they are obedient and good at flattering people.
After a certain kind-hearted senior female colleague who took care of others was driven out, the atmosphere has continued to deteriorate and gotten worse and worse.
Because of the staff shortage, each person has to shoulder the workload of two people and cannot finish it in time. The manager arbitrarily assumes that this means you are slacking off, so you work overtime, but they do not pay overtime wages.
How are managers chosen? By upper management? Not at all.
Those who have a good relationship with the department manager are the ones who get recommended.
It is best to smoke together often; then you will have a very comfortable time here.
Good luck, newcomers.
