HR got the interview location and job position wrong

To cut to the chase:

Terrible—by far the worst of the six interviews I’ve had.

The original poster has a degree and master’s in computer science from a top-four university, with 37 LeetCode Hards and 73 Mediums.

The position I interviewed for was related to computer vision algorithms or AI.

In the email exchanges, HR

mixed up the location and the interview position.

Before the manager interview, I first had to take a 90-minute test (logic + C/C++).

Basically, I scored at least 90, if not 100, in logic.

I scored at least 80, if not 90, in C/C++.

But during the video interview, the other party directly said that there were no longer any AI-related openings—only computer vision applications.

Then I received a phone call, and after speaking on the phone,

once they learned that I had no relevant image-processing experience,

I was dismissed within five minutes.

Not to mention that, even before receiving an offer, I was expected to prepare my transcript, proof of resignation, overtime consent form, and overseas assignment consent form.

And in the basic-information form, I was asked to fill in a whole lot of details, including my family members’ occupations.
