Pros

Recognizing colleagues who share the hardships, because we have to work together to fight against exploitative bosses.

Cons

1. There is no overtime pay. For example, if normal hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., actually leaving around 6 will get you mocked: “Young people nowadays want to leave as soon as work ends—I really don’t know what they’re thinking.” (Normally, everyone works until 7 or 8 every day; if you have something to do and need to leave at the “normal” time, you’ll be mocked.

2. They pay you a salary of 26,000 to 28,000 and expect you to bring in 600,000 in profits. The boss even said: “Otherwise, what am I hiring you for?”

3. It’s always about grand promises that never materialize. When you come up with an idea for a video shoot, they say it’s good during the proposal meeting, but before execution they start questioning every decision. What they always ask is how much money it can make: “Otherwise, why should I invest these costs?” (I can understand this, but those costs are basically reduced to the absolute minimum—lower even than what students would spend on a shoot…)

4. They are always bragging about how capable they are, but what they actually say is truly delusional.

5. If you aren’t handsome or beautiful, they will constantly tell you to get plastic surgery.

6. If you simply want to practice your ability to withstand pressure, this place is very suitable, because there is little money, lots of work, and no humanity.

7. It basically has all the disadvantages you can think of.
