Sales work is inherently highly challenging, so you should be mentally prepared before joining Sinyi. Unless you are going to be a secretary, as someone mentioned, going out to conduct sales activities and visit property managers is simply part of what real estate agents do.
Moreover, Sinyi only recruits people without experience. If you do not attend training or learn about the professional knowledge of this industry, how can you call yourself a real estate agent when you charge clients so much in service fees yet provide unprofessional service?
Compared with team bonuses, individual bonuses are of course higher. Everyone wants to make money, and there are only so many listings on the market, so it is perfectly normal for everyone to pursue the same listing together. Listing A is especially a race against time. There are senior colleagues who will teach you there (though of course not every one of them is like that), but you are also competitors. When they teach you, they are helping you out of goodwill, enabling new hires to adapt to sales work sooner. They do not get paid for spending time mentoring junior colleagues. Realistically, of course it is more important to focus on your own performance.
The NT$50,000 resignation allowance certainly is not something you can take for free; you have to meet certain requirements to receive it. But honestly, someone who comes in for a month, does not do much, and only wants to collect another NT$50,000 before leaving is not exactly a valuable employee to the company either. Rather than staying here hoping to “get” NT$300,000 without doing anything, you would be better off making good use of these six months to learn. Even if you do not plan to work in the real estate industry later, you can still acquire many skills that will be useful in the workplace in the future.
However, everything still depends on your own circumstances~
The atmosphere differs from branch to branch, but encountering a good workplace environment really does give you more motivation to work hard here.
If you want to get rich quickly through sales work, Sinyi is indeed a good place. But if you only want to collect the NT$300,000 and leave, I recommend not wasting your life and youth here.
The downside is that the working hours are really long... On my first day, I did not leave until nearly 9 p.m. The culture differs from store to store: some managers are okay with you leaving work early, while at stores with closer supervision, you will naturally leave later. Of course, your departure time should still be based on your work performance. If you cannot finish your tasks, you obviously will not leave early, but if you perform well this month, no one will say anything if you leave on time~
