Filling out the information on the computer took a very long time. In between, they shared the company’s philosophy and benefits, and the whole process took about 30 minutes to an hour.
Later, there was a one-on-one interview. The interviewer did not disclose their position or name, which felt somewhat disrespectful. Aside from that, all the questions were about my family situation—what my parents do, whether I have a girlfriend, and so on. They probed very deeply into personal matters unrelated to the job, which was extremely uncomfortable. Some questions also seemed deliberately designed to put me on the spot.
