The salary is fairly decent
Ample individual office space
Close to an MRT station
All the projects are for government agencies
The boss and managers have extremely poor emotional management and are easily angered when embarrassed
They are unreasonable and very domineering; communication is futile, and no matter how many mistakes are made, they are never at fault
They often emphasize timeliness, prioritizing efficiency over quality, which frequently means having to redo the work several times—a classic case of haste making waste
They pretend not to notice when you submit expenses for reimbursement or apply for expense claims
Don’t be surprised if they call a meeting before you get off work or dump an urgently needed task on you that same day
The position you apply for may differ significantly from the work you actually do
They are very good at delaying project schedules, and the work is full of defects; the client (a government agency) has issued multiple warnings, but nothing has improved
When problems arise, they tell employees to face them while they run off to deal with something else
They cannot retain talent, and there are no senior colleagues to provide guidance
