1. Good benefits
2. Automatic computer-based salary adjustments
3. Many young employees; basically, people are nice
1. A common problem in large companies: there are many people and many conflicting opinions, as well as numerous factions. Quite a few senior employees act entitled because of their tenure.
2. Shift work; sometimes you work a late shift today and an early shift the next day. Working hours are not fixed, and requests for days off must be made far in advance!!!!!
3. There are three interview stages. The supervisor has the final say in the first stage, while the latter two are merely formalities and a waste of time.
4. Few seasonal employees stay because the company has a low turnover rate and there are not many openings.
5. There are not many working hours at the beginning, and full-time positions are already saturated. Those under financial pressure should think twice.
Personal thoughts
Some supervisors particularly like inexperienced recent graduates. Unfortunately, I happened to encounter a supervisor who could not separate work from personal matters, assigned hours extremely unfairly, and would misunderstand and make things difficult for certain employees they disliked. I really feel sorry for those employees. In some departments, there are many supervisors at the same level, and the infighting is truly frightening.
