I received an invitation to attend an interview with a manager, and originally went to take a look with the mindset that I was very familiar with the field.

After arriving, I was first asked to fill out a personal information form and then attend their talent recruitment briefing. The entire process was very old-fashioned, probably the way things were done 30 years ago. Everyone took turns introducing themselves and answering the manager’s questions. The interviewer in charge seemed to be very senior, with a young man and several attendants of various ages sitting beside him.

Afterward, they selected the people they felt were suitable for a second interview. The others were asked to leave on the pretext of time, although it was obvious that the timing was entirely within their own control. Extremely disrespectful.

Overall, the process was extremely rough. The salary level was not even half of what I currently earn, yet the videos, introductions, and other materials presented by the company gave the impression that it was overly self-satisfied, to the point of underestimating candidates’ powers of observation.
