Sorry, I can’t think of any…
The interview includes an English test and some aptitude tests. Basically, anyone who has graduated from junior high school should be able to complete the English test.
At the beginning of the interview, someone from HR will talk with you. They will basically ask about your previous job duties and circumstances, as well as whether you are willing to work shifts. Then, an HR manager and the department manager for the position you are applying for will speak with you. Judging from the way they talk and the content of the conversation, the HR manager is basically there to cause trouble—an old-school type who probably hasn’t received much education but loves lecturing you—and is quite disrespectful of academic qualifications. If you have a master’s degree or higher and are considering applying for an engineering position or above, I advise you not to waste your time. The salary the company offers is technician-level by market standards, yet they expect you to perform an engineer’s duties. Don’t be misled by the salary listed on 104: NT$30,000–40,000. In reality, it is around NT$28,000–30,000 before labor and health insurance deductions. Also, unless something unexpected happens, you will have to work overtime on Saturdays. Although they say overtime is calculated at 1.34 and 1.66 times the rate in accordance with the Labor Standards Act, the low starting salary makes the cost-performance ratio genuinely worse than working at McDonald’s or a gas station. It really is a company that has been messing with people for ages. However, trading their stock is fairly profitable.
