No pros!
I advise Taiwanese people who are thinking of gaining overseas experience in mainland China: if you see or receive a job posting or phone call from this company, reject it outright.
First, the salary they discuss with you on the phone will tempt you, but the devil is in the details. Apart from not providing labor and health insurance, they only tell you after you arrive that Taiwanese employees have to take turns working during holidays. Even the promised holidays taken together with mainland Chinese employees still require make-up work. If you do not make up the work, they deduct it from your pay. The meals they provide look like swill, and every day you have to live under the boss’s threats. They deduct RMB 300 from your pay at the slightest pretext. Am I here to suffer for nothing? The policies change every day and become increasingly harsh. The Taiwanese employees here are not driven away by mainland Chinese employees; they are driven away by Taiwanese employees acting on instructions from senior management. Think about it: if this Taiwanese company treats Taiwanese employees this way, how could it treat employees from the mainland any better? Is that why a bunch of people resign every day? They also force Taiwanese employees out, allowing the company to save on salaries and airfare.
If you are a masochist who wants to lose weight, you are welcome to apply—the acceptance rate is 100%.
