A somewhat difficult-to-describe interview process
An extremely long interview?! I find it a little difficult to describe the entire interview process—it had a very strange atmosphere, in my opinion.
They first ask you to agree to whether you can work under this kind of arrangement, and only then will they tell you whether the salary they are offering is acceptable.
I felt that the conversation was vague from beginning to end. They kept asking you to answer first whether you really wanted to do the job, saying that the details could be discussed later. I kept hearing, “I still haven’t heard whether you can give me an answer. Do you want to come work here or not?” So I asked again, “Then where is the salary you’re offering?”
In short, it was like going around in circles. At the time, they kept asking me to respond about whether I could work under those conditions......
Moreover, the interview did not really cover the company’s work or job responsibilities. They had already started telling me what would need to be done as part of the job, and said overtime would be paid at 1.6 times the regular rate—but it would also depend on whether I had finished my own work.
It was very clearly scripted talk. The interview was at 4:00 p.m. Writing my résumé and filling out a personality-trait questionnaire took about 40 minutes.
The interview ended at 6:30 p.m. (or rather, I hinted that I had something to do afterward).
Anyway, I was told that they would get back to me.
The HR department has not yet been established. At present, there is one intern and one manager conducting interviews.
So the system and structure have not yet been fully established......
Interview advice:
You only need to say roughly what is necessary. Some questions do not need to be answered—after all, it is only an interview, and there is no need to disclose too much personal information right away.
