The HR assistant manager was very punctual.
The HR assistant manager was completely distracted, with his attention entirely focused on his colleagues’ conversation not far away. He even inadvertently laughed along with them, perhaps because he heard them discussing some amusing gossip or content. Although I was led to an open, partitionless “office” on the fifth floor, the HR assistant manager still paid very close attention to his colleagues’ conversation in the distance....
However, he did still ask about the professional aspects (although it was clear from the questions he asked that this was not his area of expertise, he still patiently listened to my answers).
(It’s a good thing I wasn’t hired...)
