Seriously, the son is completely a mama's boy. He is full of ideals, but immediately gives in whenever the chairwoman speaks up. The family's salaries account for half of the monthly income—how could the company possibly make money? Whenever the chairwoman wants to refute her son's opinions, she never speaks to him directly. Instead, she suppresses the design work to make her son back down. The mama's-boy son knows this, and he also knows that the problem is not with the design, yet he still won't stand up for the design. The chairwoman is very good at playing both sides. The company only provides one iPhone for photographing products, while the chairwoman's second son uses a 12,000-yuan photography setup, then uses it to criticize the design team for having insufficient equipment. He also keeps making personal attacks, saying things like, "My son takes photos that look like they were taken by a brand designer. What kind of thing are you taking?" When I tried to explain, he coldly said, "I don't want to hear any of your explanations. They're all just excuses. I think it's a people problem, not an equipment problem." He said this to the designer and kept repeating it to other colleagues, just to get them to agree with him. In summer, they even stipulated that the air conditioner could not be turned on unless the temperature exceeded 33°C. If you asked her about turning it on, she would decide based on her mood and say, "I don't feel hot." Of course she didn't feel hot—the only fan was blowing directly at her. When her son wanted to turn on the air conditioner, she wouldn't say anything. Their family has many, many other problems. In short, if your designs have substance but their family lacks the depth to appreciate them, save yourself the time and leave as soon as possible. I didn't stay there long either—I left as soon as I could. The designs really changed every day, with no consistent principles at all.
