The work at the Pingtung module factory is simple and easy to learn.
Technician, two days on and two days off, night shift: NT$29,000 (take-home pay)
No prospects and no money. I have been employed for two months, and for one of those months, the production lines were almost completely shut down (there were no orders). Everyone on the production lines just pretended to be busy, attending classes while waiting to get paid. It feels like the company could go under at any time... There are no benefits (for the Dragon Boat Festival, you only get NT$500 in PayEasy points after completing three months). The year-end bonus is not paid until June... I heard it is 0.5 months' salary.
