Headquarters position interview

Near an MRT station

I was notified the afternoon before that the interview would be the following morning, without being given sufficient time to prepare. It felt somewhat disrespectful to the interviewee.

As soon as I sat down for the interview, HR started asking about the details of my work history from my first job, as if checking my identity. Some questions seemed pointless, and they asked one question after another. After HR finished, another supervisor took over the questioning. It was apparent that they had not prepared the questions in advance.

Finally, after briefly looking through my portfolio, they gave me a laptop and had me go to the meeting room next door to complete a computer test. The test question was simply to write a passage and its dimensions on a piece of paper (that's right—it was written during the interview, and the back of the paper was my résumé!). It was the first time I had encountered such a slapdash test. After it ended, no one even escorted me out. I went to the reception desk and asked them to find HR for me, and HR said over the phone that I could leave.......

Throughout the entire process, they never mentioned the salary, company policies, career development, or anything else about the position. They also did not clearly explain the job responsibilities or give me any time to ask questions. This was truly the first time I had encountered such an absurd interview, and I wasted more than two hours filling out a pile of paperwork and taking tests.
