Your supervisor loves you; you can coast every day. Three-grade engineers are treated like gods.
1. Senior employees bully newcomers.
2. The production line will work you to death, while the production-line supervisor sits in their position every day without seeming to know what to do. The production-line supervisor lacks the ability to manage and cannot lead the line.
The supervisors in every department have “0” ability and do things based on personal biases.
3. Quality is unbelievably terrible. They only care about output, and quality data is falsified.
4. Senior employees are treated like gods. You cannot point out their mistakes; bad tasks are assigned to juniors, and mistakes are pushed onto others.
5. The duty roster does not allow any leave unless you are a senior employee.
6. All the capable people have resigned. The gap is huge between people with nine years of experience and those with one year.
7. They find ways to make you submit your own resignation.
8. Talent is not valued. The boss has money anyway, so they can just hire more people.
9. Recently, they only favor people with master’s degrees or higher, and flatterers are also popular.
10. There are many senior employees on the production line who act entitled, deaf and mute workers, foreign workers who do not speak English, and foreign workers who come to Taiwan to study and only come in three days a week.
11. Equipment maintenance is done carelessly or not done at all.
12. No one actually carries out quality self-inspections; a bunch of things are fabricated.
13. The production line handles SOPs carelessly, and the data is careless as well.
14. The production line makes products recklessly and keeps going all the way to packaging. If the supervisor wants you to take responsibility, the products can be shipped.
15. The production line is never wrong.
16. The process engineering department is treated as if it deserves to die, made to take the blame for the production line, and has no status.
17. There are many malicious people in the company and on the production line.
There is too much to list... It is terrifying.
I took childcare leave, and the company pressured me to resign. As a result, I was asked to leave. The reason for resignation was laughable (because I did not answer the phone). The reason written on the resignation form was: “Unable to be promoted!” I was handling an abnormality when my supervisor kept calling. Because I did not answer immediately, they told me to get lost.....
