Small company with few employees.

1. The assistant manager always assigns tasks at the end of the workday. If employees leave work early, they are criticized as incapable.

2. Related to the above, everything has to go through this sole assistant manager. Matters are not handled during working hours but are only resolved after work, resulting in zero efficiency.

3. The assistant manager lacks leadership qualities. As a supervisor, their words only create division and undermine unity.

4. The assistant manager puts their own interests first and will not invest effort in anything that offers them no personal benefit. How can they lead subordinates?

5. Emails sent to customers are full of typos, and the content is all evasive and perfunctory. There is no professionalism whatsoever.

6. New employees report at 8:45 a.m., while the company’s official start time is 9:00 a.m. The assistant manager does not arrive at the office until 9:30 a.m. Between 9:00 and 9:30, the chairman even asked, “The assistant manager still hasn’t come in?”

7. Related to the above, there is no respect for new employees. On their first day, new employees are left sitting at their desks doing nothing, wasting their time.

There are countless problems with the assistant manager’s leadership abilities; they really cannot all be listed. Whether they can actually do the job becomes clear after a three-month trial.
