Very relaxed when there are no cars.
The system uses license plate recognition as the basis for entry and exit, but its recognition accuracy needs significant improvement. For example, xxx-xxxx is clearly the correct plate, yet it is recognized as xx-xxx; alternatively, A is recognized as R, T as V, and so on.
In addition to recognition errors, information transmission between systems is also highly problematic. It often happens that after a vehicle enters or exits, the relevant information is not written to the database. As a result, when the vehicle owner tries to pay, there is no entry record; alternatively, the system shows that the vehicle has been parked for several days and demands a payment of 1,000 or 2,000 dollars at once. There are also cases where the vehicle owner has already paid, but the barrier still does not open... All kinds of problems occur one after another.
Furthermore, monthly parking vehicles cannot automatically open the barrier when entering or exiting and still require manual assistance. The amount shown on the business card is incorrect: although there is clearly still 100 dollars remaining, it shows either 10 or 1,000 dollars. When 100 is displayed as 10, the vehicle owner immediately becomes upset; once the matter is investigated and explained, and entry and exit return to normal the next day, everything is fine. But when 100 is displayed as 1,000, the vehicle owner does not think there is a problem with having more money. When the correct amount of 100 is displayed the next day, they complain loudly and question why the balance has decreased.
There are countless system problems, and in the end, it is always the on-site staff who have to clean up the mess.
