- A foreign company on the surface, but Taiwanese at its core; the salary is nothing particularly special
- The company’s systems and documentation are extremely chaotic and lack structure
- No seasonal bonuses or gifts; the benefits are pitifully limited
- The annual company banquet is held at lunchtime, and the manager is reluctant to let you order too many dishes or go to a particularly good restaurant
- Work must prioritize the United States; as long as things are easy for the Americans, that is all that matters, while Taiwanese employees are expected to accommodate all sorts of difficulties
- American colleagues do things according to their own preferences, regardless of whether the approach makes sense
- The manager only wants to take care of their own work and will not support you, but will require you to do many unreasonable things
- You are often assigned many tasks completely unrelated to your job title; the manager only says they are helping distribute the company’s miscellaneous work
- The manager has no sense of how to allocate work, assigning it according to personal preferences with no logic
People full of passion and ambition should stay away; this place will grind all your passion away
