It honestly doesn’t sound like there are any advantages.
If complying with the Labor Standards Act counts, then I guess so...?
Compliance with the Labor Standards Act is the bare minimum that should be provided. Why do so many companies nowadays treat compliance with it as a benefit???
Even large companies are like this. Ridiculous.
The interview invitation said 9:00, but when I arrived that day, they said, “Wasn’t it 10:00?” Very unprofessional.
The supervisor also called an on-site junior manager to conduct the interview at the last minute. The senior manager wasn’t there, so it felt very casual and perfunctory.
The interview questions were also very unclear. They said there were no definitive answers, so I don’t know what the point of giving that test was.
As for the salary, they said it would be determined by the Taipei headquarters, but nothing ever came of it.
Overall, it felt like I went there just so they could go through the motions and get it over with. I didn’t feel that the company was genuinely looking to recruit anyone.
They even wasted my time and money buying a shirt to wear to the interview.
During the busy season, overtime may be required, possibly until midnight at the latest. Female employees can leave at 10:00 p.m.
All I can say is that the cost-performance ratio is really poor.
