The front desk staff were very friendly and willing to help with any questions.
The pre-employment training sounded quite thorough. Public holidays are days off, and although days off are scheduled, you are not given fewer days off.
There are four company activities a year, and they do not conflict with your days off.
There are employee development courses, but you need to attend them in your own additional time.
I applied for the foreign-language customer service position, while there were also other applicants for the regular customer service position.
After the supervisor responsible for regular customer service arrived, she told me that another supervisor responsible for the foreign-language section would interview me and asked me to wait.
However, the foreign-language supervisor never showed up. The regular customer service supervisor said that she could not handle the foreign-language section,
so in the end, I joined the others in taking what was referred to as the basic test.
In reality, my time was completely wasted because the foreign-language component was not assessed at all.
I only had to complete a simple Chinese-English written test, and my spoken communication was never evaluated.
As a result, I do not know how the supervisor was supposed to decide whether to hire me. Would I then be asked to come back for another interview?
The person responsible for the interview did not show up at the scheduled time, and I really do not know what to make of it.
