A place to wait out retirement and die. Slow-paced, with little room for growth.
An extremely, extremely conservative company. Overall, it is basically a family business that wants to play it safe in everything.
Departments reassign positions from time to time. Sometimes they ask you to do one thing today and something else later. They talk about innovation every day, but the systems are extremely outdated.
It is simply impossible to keep up with the pace of current technology, and the internal pace is also very slow.
When you join, they make the job sound impressive and wonderful.
After joining, you discover that there are many outdated systems, and much of the work basically consists of miscellaneous tasks. It is very different from what you initially expected.....
They keep shouting about reform, but upper management is conservative, and there are also many old-timers who work slowly and cannot be rushed. It may take more than a year just to change something.
A pretty big waste of time.....
