HR and the interviewer had no prior communication whatsoever. After notifying me about the interview and having me show up, HR said it was because I understood electronic components. Then the interviewer asked me, “You work in R&D, so why did you come to interview for a procurement position??” They said there was no suitable position for me and immediately told me to leave... Sigh. They are constantly updating the job posting. They want someone who can handle both mechanical and electronic procurement—a highly cost-effective candidate—with an intermediate level of English (which is basically like looking for an all-around R&D engineer who understands both software and hardware). But none of this was mentioned in the job posting!!!! They want an all-around procurement specialist, yet they posted two positions.
