The HR staff were pretty good—quite friendly and respectful.

The HR person who showed me in at the beginning seemed very nice.

But I never expected the technical manager who came in after I finished the test to be so shocking.

There were two managers, one man and one woman.

At first, the woman asked questions.

She asked me to introduce myself and also asked about my current company’s work.

After I finished speaking, she wanted me to explain in more detail.

So I explained in more detail.

Then she wanted me to give examples.

The whole process just kept repeating:

I explained → she wanted more details and examples.

I explained → she wanted more details and examples.

I explained → she wanted more details and examples.

She even acted as if I hadn’t explained things in enough detail and she couldn’t understand me.

I’ve interviewed with more than ten companies.

At “every single one,” they understood everything after I gave a general explanation.

I don’t understand what exactly she didn’t understand.

Okay, fine.

Even if I take a step back and assume there really was a communication problem,

she just kept repeating, “Could you explain it in more detail? Could you give an example?”

And then she just ended the interview directly???

Hello???

I’ve interviewed with more than ten companies, and at “every single one,” they were very polite and always covered the basics:

* Job description

* Company introduction

* Benefits information

I was seriously dumbfounded—she didn’t cover even one of these before ending the interview and letting me leave.

What a terrible experience.

A huge waste of time!!!!!!!
