The total monthly amount is fairly decent (36k–39k / 276 hours).
There are fewer people on the night shift, so aside from not being able to sleep, you can relax and do your own thing.
1. This job is essentially trading time for money, with more than 276 hours every month. Taking leave results in a heavy deduction (-$2,100), and taking annual leave is treated the same as taking leave and will result in a pay cut! For a while, annual leave was even prohibited.
2. The turnover rate is high, and the company recruits indiscriminately to fill vacancies. A company executive once revealed that anyone with functioning hands and feet could get in. The sheer number of oddballs causes divisions and ostracism; after joining, there are endless oddballs to deal with!
3. The night-shift allowance is $5 per hour.
4. All company supervisor positions are filled by parachuted-in personnel, so it is normal for them to know nothing. Meanwhile, lower-level managers can never be promoted to supervisor, no matter how long they have worked there.
5. They do not tell you how the bonus is calculated until the bonus is issued. You may even find out only after receiving the year-end bonus that the New Year bonus was deducted from the year-end bonus to pay you. This does not match the announcement, and appeals are useless.
