The sales department bonus is effectively zero. The fixed year-end bonus is 0.5–1 month’s salary, but in February, a proportion of the monthly salary will be deducted based on the number of days worked, so after the deduction, the year-end bonus is zero. Opening a purchase order and getting a quotation approved takes forever. The sales division has many departments; everyone in the money-losing departments is suffering terribly, and people in those departments are mentally prepared to jump ship and look for new jobs. It is a company with an overly rigid bureaucracy, with endless meaningless documents to complete. The pay is extremely low, yet they demand Japanese-style work endurance while offering Taiwanese-level low wages. If you really have no job, come here to get by for a few months; leave immediately once you find something better—don’t stay too long, or you’ll become one of the living dead.
