The location on Yanji Street is lively and pretty good.
The interview was basically a humiliation session!!! Think twice before submitting your résumé.
When I arrived, a man showed me to a conference room to wait for the interview. After having the interviewee complete a personality assessment,
that man came in and began the interview. The strange thing was that he kept calculating how long it had been since I left my most recent job and the one before that. Even though it wasn't in the gaming industry, he kept asking why I didn't look for a job in gaming—
or he would rudely say, “Aren't there lots of gaming companies in Neihu? You could try applying there!” He made it seem as though I hadn't come there for an interview at all. Otherwise, he questioned why I hadn't found a job, implying that it was because my salary expectations were too high. (Hello! I asked for less than 40,000—how is that high?)
He then said he would ask a supervisor to come. After leaving to find the supervisor, he barged back in ten minutes later, left the door open, and said, “Our supervisor is busy. We'll notify you if there are any further updates!” (What? Did you get chewed out and rush back in without coordinating what to say?)
Not everyone who comes to an interview is garbage, okay! They're not your underlings or servants! Don't treat people like they've been beaten up or something!
If you don't mind being humiliated, go ahead and apply!
