Flexible and autonomous work

1. Department managers are almost completely incompetent. They lack knowledge but love throwing their weight around; deceiving inexperienced newcomers may work for them. Their presentation skills and content are not even at a college-student level. They are narrow-minded and will attack competitors and former colleagues during meetings.

2. The company’s systems are difficult to use, and much critical data cannot be analyzed or cross-referenced.

3. Senior employees form small cliques, isolate newcomers, and are extremely exclusionary.

4. Department-level managers speak arrogantly and may humiliate you during interviews with personal attacks.

5. All internal employee benefits and performance-based incentive trips are handled opaquely and look extremely improper.

6. The bonus system is undisclosed and nontransparent. It can be changed at will without notifying employees, and employees are also prohibited from photographing and retaining records of it.

7. Product selection lacks logic. The boss gives resources to whoever they favor. If you are a star employee, products can be proposed at the original price and approved casually; if you are not, they will threaten to withdraw your resources until they force you out.

8. There is no one to learn from. Anyone seeking improvement and growth should think twice; the longer you stay, the more foolish you become.

9. Only three types of people can thrive in the entire company: senior employees; people with powerful backers and connections; and people willing to curry favor with the first two groups.
