Colleagues get along well
Most managers are nice
The benefits are decent
The bonuses are acceptable (depending on the department and manager)
The base salary is not high (for Taipei City)
A lot of parachuted-in personnel have joined recently
Quite a few long-serving employees who helped establish the company have left

Then there is one manager who is extremely emotional, full of negativity, and uses negative wording
Very good at painting rosy pictures, making grand promises, and flattering others
Cares deeply about being a manager, keeps all the power in their own hands, and often gives unprofessional guidance on professional matters
As a result, neither the design nor marketing teams have room to work freely; everything is decided by this person
Has absolutely no ability to self-reflect and always dumps the blame on subordinates
Shows extreme favoritism and protection toward favored subordinates. They make a mistake? No problem—just have an unfavored subordinate take the blame
Uses sarcastic and cutting remarks toward disliked subordinates, is harsh with them, publicly criticizes them, and scrutinizes them excessively
On average, every two months, they suddenly announce that the department will be reorganized and its work responsibilities reviewed
They also suddenly change people's duties—for example, suddenly telling administrative staff to do sales
Bonuses are given entirely according to this person's preferences: favored people get a lot, while disliked people get very little. If you ask how the percentage was determined, they will say: “Don't talk to me about money!”
-----------
Quite a few managers treat themselves like nobility: subordinates are expected to carry their luggage and shoulder heavy items
The boss is the emperor, but I think that's reasonable—the company basically relies on him to keep it going
A very traditional family business with a feudal system. Think carefully before joining
