The company's self-service Chinese meals are pretty good.
The company has been investing a lot of manpower and effort in promoting 6S, but honestly, compared with 6S, it would be more practical to solve the problems on the shop floor first! In the unit where I work, all the vernier calipers are broken, and we even have to repair them ourselves... Mold setup personnel are not assigned vernier calipers, so we have to share them with Quality Assurance every day. I heard from a colleague that when they raised this with the supervisor, the supervisor replied, "The company has no budget." I was dumbfounded.
In addition, we have to work overtime at least three days a week (7:50–17:00–20:00). Of the four weeks in each month, we also have to work two Saturdays. If you don't work overtime, the supervisor will lecture you, as if not working overtime makes you an outsider... This company in Douliu has a reputation for being extremely demanding, and its turnover rate is very high...
