First, the position I applied for was an internal order-processing role.
There was no need to work in the field; it was all day in the office.
1. The interview process was lengthy, taking a total of three hours
(including an intelligence test, Chinese–English translation, a self-introduction in English, and a simple English conversation).
2. The starting salary was only the government-mandated minimum wage
(I don’t know whether this was because I had only one year of work experience.)
3. Assistant-level pay for work content more like that of an international trade sales representative.
