Last year, I applied for a part-time evening position at a NET clothing store in the Taichung area. After bringing my résumé to the store, the young female staff member at the counter immediately said that they were looking for students and kept refusing to notify the hiring manager about the interview. Eventually, the hiring manager came out (a gray-haired woman who appeared to be over 50). After seeing me, she said that they wanted students, not people who had already entered the workforce and were no longer students. I asked why they had notified me of the interview then. She replied that it was sent by the system, and finally made a sarcastic remark that working adults are less stable, while students are more stable and can work from their freshman year through graduation as seniors. Yet even now, they are still perpetually hiring........
The interview process was very poor, and the other party was extremely disrespectful.
