HR was quite courteous.
The salary and perfect-attendance bonus are explained upfront, plus NT$500 per month for three meals.
A guaranteed year-end bonus of two months’ base salary.
The interview process felt very rushed, and the supervisor seemed rather casual, as if they only wanted manpower.
Although I personally dislike interviews that are too long or not focused on the key points (which many companies do), they still should get to know prospective employees to some extent.
Although they advertise up to 16 months of total annual compensation, based on what I’ve read online from former employees and shared experiences, it seems employees may be given a “D” rating during the first three years and be unable to receive the three-year bonus; only after getting through that period can they receive 16 months.
Does this mean that regardless of how well you perform, anyone with sufficient seniority can simply receive it as stipulated?
As for salary adjustments, it seems they are not guaranteed for everyone, since HR said the decision rests with the supervisor.
If you really plan to join, you may need to mentally prepare yourself for the possibility of receiving no raise each year.
For an operator’s salary, I’d say it is around the middle—slightly better than half of the companies.
The guaranteed two-month year-end bonus is something many companies cannot offer.
Conclusion: Suitable for people without specific goals or those who want stability and are looking for a place to coast toward retirement.
