The salary is relatively high; with night-shift pay included, it generally won’t be below 40,000.
1. We’re severely understaffed. The hospital keeps wanting to open new wards, but it can’t even fill the existing staffing needs, and we still get reassigned to other wards.
2. They want to save money on everything. Everything has to be calculated—even limiting the amount of linens we can use is ridiculous.
3. It’s unclear what the supervisors do; they’re completely ineffective. They only follow upper management’s demands and keep asking for this and that. Even when we report issues they can’t resolve, the matter just gets kicked back to us.
4. The equipment is old. The computers crash constantly every day, and even when we’re already running out of time, we still have to wait for them to finish crashing. The bed frames for National Health Insurance beds are already rusty, but they still won’t replace them. Are they waiting until one collapses before replacing it?
5. The reason given for cutting costs is apparently that too much was used for evaluations. It sounds completely absurd. Does the hospital not do any financial planning?
