“Once you become the boss, you’ll know that what I’m doing is right.”
That’s what my supervisor told me at first, and I believed it.
No labor or health insurance; with a NT$1,200 subsidy, you’re expected to enroll in a labor union yourself.
During the probationary period, six days off per month; the company decides the length of the probationary period. Regular employees get seven days off per month.
Working hours are 11:00–20:00, with no meal break.
No compensatory days off for national holidays and no overtime pay.
The advertised training is just being taught by coworkers.
I haven’t seen any so-called birthday bonus.
I’ve never heard of any so-called employee trip.
