The company environment is clean and presentable.
A company that is impressive on the outside but rotten within. It often engages in meaningless activities and absolutely loves holding meetings that waste time. The company itself has little technical expertise, so it digs into new employees’ past experience and skills. There are no professionals to assess experimental results. The supervisor loves engaging in internal personnel politics and is very skilled at playing both sides. Naturally, the pay for overtime on regular workdays and holidays also does not comply with the Labor Standards Act. The overtime system is laughable: you apply in advance, and an email is sent for the supervisor’s approval; the overtime may already have been completed, only for the supervisor to indicate during approval that you were “not allowed” to work overtime (an actual example involving a colleague). The situation in other departments is unclear; I only know that they are also extremely exploitative. There have previously been cases where employees were unable to take annual leave or use accumulated hours, ultimately resulting in mass resignations.
