1. The interviewer required applicants to bring a résumé with a photo. After arriving at the company, applicants also had to fill out several pages of the company’s standardized résumé forms and take a test. After entering the meeting room, they had to wait for several more minutes before an HR manager came to conduct the interview.

2. The position applied for was an administrative receptionist. While filling out the forms, I heard the receptionist tell a delivery person that several people had already left this position. After the interview, I finally understood why employees could not be retained at this company.

3. The job description was completely different from what was discussed during the interview. The job posting stated that applicants’ language-related majors were not restricted, but when I actually went there, the first thing I was asked to do was introduce myself in English. Because I had not prepared, the HR manager berated me, asking how I would communicate with callers from foreign countries in the future, and then sent me away. The company insisted that the applicant had simply failed to read the job posting carefully, even though the job posting did not require this.

4. The HR manager was a woman approximately 50 years old or older. She spoke very sharply and sarcastically, showed extreme disrespect toward the applicant, and kept insisting on her own views.

5. Although the company is located in Taipei 101, its location on the 69th floor means that taking the elevator requires multiple transfers rather than a direct ride, which is very time-consuming.
