I was not added to the company group, so I did not know about the company's mass notification emails. Then, one day, there was no clock-in record, and I did not receive a notification email telling me that I needed to make up the clock-in. Even though there were surveillance camera records, as well as testimony from colleagues and my supervisor, HR said that none of these counted and still treated it as an absence without pay.
