*Since I am uncertain about the job titles, I will refer to them as the mid-level and senior managers.

The mid-level manager was very friendly and carefully asked about my résumé and situation, but the senior manager was extremely rude. They kept their eyes closed and rubbed their eyes throughout the interview, and never looked directly at the interviewee.

The only time they looked directly at me was when salary came up. I stated that I was asking for 30K, but the senior manager directly said, “Would you be willing to work for 28K?” They did not seem interested in saying or discussing anything further with me.

Working hours may be extended and overtime may be required depending on project schedules, but there does not seem to be any overtime pay or bonus system—only compensatory leave.
