The company environment and reputation are both quite good. Other than there being a lot of work and little pay, everything is great.

Contract work in the EC department is extremely demanding. You have to work overtime at night and on holidays, and there are many miscellaneous copy-and-paste tasks. You often have to stay up late to manually enter data because the system lacks necessary functionality, and the work provides very little sense of accomplishment.

Contract workers are not allowed to participate in some company events. Sometimes there are paid-leave deductions, or full-time colleagues leave early to attend events while you stay behind to work overtime at the company.

Contract workers' status in the company is like disposable chopsticks. There are very few opportunities to become permanent. If you want to become a permanent employee, being assigned to a good department gives you a better chance. Going to a department that does not make money and has a poor manager is like being in a slum; no matter how capable you are, it is very difficult to become permanent.
