2. Its vision is presented as beautiful and grand; those with ambition can grow together with the company.

The company's HR department “proactively” invited me to interview for an internal A position. After I took time off from my former job to attend the interview, the interviewing manager said they did not need someone for the A internal position; they only needed someone for the B sales position, which requires frequent business trips. The two positions are vastly different in terms of responsibilities—this was simply a waste of everyone's time!

This highlights that:

1. The HR department did not clarify what kind of person the department manager needed.

2. The HR department may have just wanted to get the task over with.

3. The department manager had not reviewed the applicant's information before the interview.

4. There are communication problems within the company.

To anyone planning to interview with this company: be sure to clarify the job responsibilities beforehand, so you do not waste your valuable time—or have to take time off and lose pay!
