Pros

If counting the clock-in and clock-out times as they are is considered an advantage.

Cons

This is based on an experience from two years ago, so I don't know what the situation is like now.

1. Before joining, the company as a whole makes you feel that it has prospects and ideals. It claims not to violate the Labor Standards Act, and it does indeed pay according to the clock-in and clock-out times. However, employees are required to do work after hours, such as organizing meeting minutes. Sometimes there are other miscellaneous tasks as well, which the supervisor calls training.

2. Employees are required to attend classes held by a religious organization after hours without pay, which is also called training.

3. Female employees are required to wear makeup, which is essentially gender discrimination.

4. The company's values and practices are confusing. On the one hand, it promotes environmental protection and loving the Earth; on the other hand, it serves coffee. Does it not know how much damage coffee beans cause to the environment? What proportion of the coffee beans are rainforest-certified?

5. Company managers lead employees with positive thinking as the core approach. Do they not know that psychologists have long examined the infeasible aspects of this method?

6. This is just my personal opinion, but I find the seniority system very hypocritical. When the general manager arrives, all employees are expected to run out to welcome them, and when they see the general manager, they have to greet them loudly, and so on. Hello, this is a coffee shop. When someone is loud in a coffee shop, don't we consider that person a difficult customer? But when the general manager comes, those standards no longer matter?
