I worked there for about two years. The department I was in was the Platform Development Department.

1. Gamania pays very little (NT$32K–35K), and I heard that raises are difficult to get (one colleague had worked there for more than ten years and had only received two raises).

2. The boss often comes up with strange proposals. The employees below have a hard time and are expected to know how to do everything.

3. What is needed here is someone who is very good at flattering others. For people with strong abilities, working here is a waste of time, and they may even become less capable.

4. Whether in the Planning Section, Business Section, Advertising Operations Section, Operations Section, or Art Section, turnover in this department is very high. Low salaries are a common complaint.

I changed teams three times just within this department. The boss expects employees to know how to do everything but pays them peanuts. After leaving the company, I found it difficult to find another job and realized that Gamania has a poor reputation.

After all, this is a traditional family-run company passed down through relatives. The supervisors are almost all either long-term employees or relatives, and there is little professional expertise to speak of. I do not recommend staying here and wasting your time.
