Pros

I haven't gone to the interview yet, but I'd like to share one of my experiences.

Cons

After submitting my résumé to this company, I received a call from HR asking for basic information and was given the opportunity to interview. It was only then that I began to conduct more serious research into the company. I discovered on Tianyan Tong that the company had a lot of negative reviews, so I emailed the HR representative to change the interview time, saying that I wanted to observe the situation for a while. At the same time, I asked directly whether the situation described on Tianyan Tong was true, and whether the issue of making interviewees wait for a long time had been improved.

I know this behavior was a bit obnoxious, but personally, I believe that if a company isn't a good fit, we shouldn't hurt each other or waste time (at the time, I had fewer concerns while looking for a job).

In the end, HR replied that someone who cared only about the company's reputation was also a point they would take into consideration. Changing the time was no problem, and they would notify me again (as you might expect, I never received another notification).

However, when looking for a job, shouldn't you care about the company's reputation? There is also future career development, and so many other things that need to be considered. Moreover, a company with genuine systems and scale that treats job seekers well should, in theory, not have a very high proportion of negative reviews.

Although I was being obnoxious by asking this question, I also wanted the company to understand that job seekers do look at these reviews. Someone has to be brave enough to be the first to speak up before the unequal relationship between employers and employees in Taiwan can change.

I wasn't surprised or upset that I didn't get the opportunity to interview, and I don't blame HR, so I'm giving an average rating. However, I wanted to share this experience for future reference.
