The colleagues are nice.
Occasionally, you get to try the company’s products.
1. Although the company sells organic food, the owner occasionally brings their dog to the office. If you are afraid of dogs or allergic to them, please avoid this workplace.
2. The owner does not respect professional expertise, is unwilling to communicate, and does not trust employees. (The owner also has a bad temper.)
3. It is one thing for what was said in the interview not to come true, but when it comes to layoffs, the owner is absolutely uncompromising.
During the interview, I was told that holidays would follow government-announced days off. After I joined, my supervisor said that typhoon days off were unpaid leave—but you can use your own annual leave to make up for them so they won’t be unpaid?!
The company repeatedly emphasizes layoffs, so throughout my employment I constantly felt that this company did not provide any sense of security. (Of course, whether you will be laid off is determined according to the owner’s own standards. Remember to flatter them and work hard to curry favor; I found that this owner particularly likes this type of employee.)
